Dear All,
A reminder that the Sunday Market starts again this Sunday (12th Jan) in the tender care of the new ‘Friends of the Market’ group. So you can again feast on Polish sourdough and wonderful cakes, and organic veg, there will be local charcuterie, jams, chutneys and (new!) Crudge’s amazing goat cheese, and knitted things.
Do come and support the new committee so we can sell all our veg – there will be cavalo nero, cabbage (red and white) two sorts of potatoes, celeriac, carrots, onions, garlic and lemon. (Let us know of other things you would like us to try and get). All organic, all UK (apart from lemons, and most very local.
Container alert: There will be eco-refills of dry foods, cleaning stuff etc on Jan 26th, so save your containers to bring with you then.
And remember to come and enjoy live music at the pub –
Monday 20th English folk from 8.30pm
Monday 27th Irish folk from 8.30pm
Saturday the 21st Pete Mcray from 9pm
Sunday 26th White Hart Sounds – this month is the amazing Stannick – 8.00 ppm
